AOGS Charity Day in Aid of SSAFA

The Army Officers’ Golfing Society Charity Golf Day on behalf of the Soldiers, Sailors, Air Force Association (SSAFA)

Tuesday 7th September 2021 at Moor Park Golf Club

2020 and 2021 have placed great challenges on society and those who have served their country so selflessly over the past decades. Lockdowns and restrictions on meeting face-to-face have meant that fundraising opportunities have suffered at a time when demand for support has never been higher.

SSAFA understands the unique demands of service life, whether it’s on UK soil or overseas, and provides support for people at any stage in their military career; from the youngest recruit to the oldest veteran – no one’s service is ever forgotten.

As the oldest of the service golfing societies, we would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday 7th September 2021 at Moor Park Golf Club to raise money on behalf of SSAFA.

The format of the day will be teams of 4 playing a Stableford round with a shotgun start on the High Course at Moor Park, with the best three scores on each hole to count. This will be followed by a late lunch in the superb clubhouse with prize giving and an auction of some very special items and opportunities.

The cost of the day is £1,000 for a team of four. We aim to raise a significant amount of money that will benefit all three services and their veterans. The link will take you to the entry form where you can enter your team details (if known) or reserve a team slot.

I hope that you will agree with me that this is a very worthwhile cause and you will join us, on what should be a very memorable day.

Brigadier (Rtd.) Mark G. Lacey,
President AOGS
